Established on Greek Independence Day in 2011, Ariston Foundation is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. Our mission is to promote, celebrate, and preserve Hellenic culture, art, and history by enabling projects and programming including cultural publications, educational material, and special events.
At Ariston Foundation, we believe that Hellenic culture is a gift. Through each of our creative endeavors, we aim to share this gift with the world and spark inspiration that will shape our Hellenic traditions of tomorrow.

2012 - Current
Published for over a decade by Ariston Foundation, the annual Portes is a collection of carefully curated stories written by renowned scholars, authors, photographers, artists, and people to whom Greece is a muse. The limited edition "made in Greece" Portes book is distributed to patrons of Hellenic culture, history, and art. Ariston Foundation has donated thousands of print issues in support of various cultural and non-profit efforts in the U.S and Greece.

ART & DESIGN PROGRAM
2024 - Current
Founded in 2024, the Hellenic Culture Awards shine a global spotlight on the most inspiring projects and initiatives that celebrate Hellenism, led by people to whom Greece is a muse. Ariston Foundation is now assembling a visionary committee to launch the world’s first and only awards dedicated exclusively to honoring the spirit, creativity, and legacy of Greek culture.
The Ariston Foundation Fine Artists Program is a unique initiative that partners with both established and emerging artists to promote Greece-inspired art on a global stage. Artists contribute original works to the foundation’s permanent collection and have the opportunity to collaborate with the Portes Shop, where their pieces reach wider audiences and support cultural projects through proceeds. Their creative journeys and stories are also celebrated in the pages of Portes Magazine, amplifying their voices and connection to Hellenic heritage. APPLY TO THE PROGRAM.

ARISTON ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS & HONOR SOCIETY

An interactive coloring book series that celebrates Hellenic culture, traditions, and timeless art through historical research and intricate, hand-drawn illustrations. Engaging and relaxing, each page invites you to bring Greece to life with color — coming soon!
Starting in 2011, and for over a decade, Ariston Foundation recognized academic excellence through the annual Ariston Honor Society and scholarships for exceptional students of Hellenic descent pursuing higher education in the U.S. Ariston Foundation partnered with the National Hellenic Student Association to distribute scholarships to deserving students in the U.S. and Canada.
