Under the glowing lights of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, art, emotion, and purpose came together for one of Greece’s most anticipated philanthropic events of the year.

CREAID unveiled the 8th edition of its annual exhibition and auction, EROS, transforming the Dome into a vibrant celebration of creativity and social impact. Welcoming more than 2,500 guests, the event once again demonstrated the powerful relationship between contemporary art and philanthropy that CREAID has cultivated over the years.

Led by its president, Marina Vernicos, CREAID is a non-profit organization with a targeted humanitarian mandate served through creative and artistic initiatives. Guided by its fundamental principle, “Create to Aid,” the organization combines artistic expression with philanthropy, using creativity as a powerful vehicle to support those in need. Through the artistic inspiration and contributions of its supporters, CREAID provides meaningful assistance to the local community while raising awareness through culture and the arts.

This year’s EROS presented an exceptional collection of artworks and fine jewellery, all dedicated to supporting a meaningful cause.

A Powerful Gathering of Art and Philanthropy

EROS 2026 brought together 120 unique pieces generously donated by renowned artists and designers from Greece and abroad. The exhibition focused on the theme of love, exploring it through contemporary artistic expressions. This theme was reflected in the diversity of the artworks, which ranged from paintings and sculptures to exquisite jewellery pieces.

The event’s success was evident not only in the number of attendees but also in the enthusiasm and engagement of the public. CREAID’s ability to unite creativity with a philanthropic mission continues to inspire both artists and supporters alike.

Exploring Love Through Contemporary Art

The concept of love was at the heart of this year’s exhibition. Artists used various mediums to express different facets of love — from connection and intimacy to passion and compassion. This approach allowed visitors to experience love not just as an emotion but as a powerful force that drives human creativity and connection.

The artworks invited reflection on how love shapes our lives and communities. By presenting these ideas through contemporary art, EROS encouraged a fresh perspective on a timeless theme.

Supporting Children’s Health with Every Bid

Proceeds from the auction will be used to purchase advanced medical equipment for the “P. & A. Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital. This support will enhance early diagnosis and treatment of pediatric illnesses, directly benefiting young patients and their families.
